About

Gecko Surf runs surf and kitesurf lessons from Rhosneigr beach, one of the most consistent wave and wind spots on the Welsh coast — Atlantic swell in autumn and winter, flat-water kitesurfing conditions across the shallow inshore lagoon in summer. Beginners' surf lessons take around two hours and cover reading the break, paddling technique, and riding your first green wave to the shore. The instructors are patient, the wetsuits are thick enough for year-round Welsh water, and the beach afterwards is its own reward.
